Apexi Power FC
Hi All,
Is anyone running the Apexi Power FC in their Rex. If so how are they, and are there any good tuners in Perth that tune these. You can pick these up with a hand controller for $1070.00 on ebay. Cheers |
i had one, they are a good unit, very fuel efficent with a 20x20 map, only issue is they are limited on their ability for engine modifications

How do these compare to say unichip / link etc?
Theyseem to be very popular with the import boys & girls... |

If you are gonna get the Power FC then go the Jetro version that uses a MAP as opposed to the AFM. It will give you heaps more potential... Also it comes with a better resolution map, i think. My bro just traded his old FC for the Jetro.
I think they are very good vaule for money and in regards to how much power they can support... my mate uses one in his 700hp GTR... nuff said. j |
can you use a pwer fc on a my01? Hyperdrive tune them with ok results... A friend just had his 200sx done there.

Is there anyone in Perth that can tune the Power FC.
Cheers |

Heaps of people can tune the FC's nowdays. You can also buy software called Datalogit....this allows you to connect the FC to a laptop and tune it from there. No idea on how much it costs but I'm told it basically cuts tuning time in half because you dont have to make changes to the maps using the ghey hand controller.
I had one in my GTR and it was perfect! |
