Default Road bike into MY11 STi Sedan

Hi All,

I have to pick my car up tomorrow from a shop and intend to ride there to get it. My question is, will a road bike fit into the back of an MY11 STI sedan? I can remove the front wheel and put the rear seats down, but does anyone know if it will fit?

Cheers

Zombee

Can be done.

Remove the front wheel (and the pedal if you like), load the bike in backwards point towards the front passenger seat, you will need to twist the forks to get it past the trim in the boot but it is pretty easy once that is done.

That is a 2009 Giant Talon mountain bike (large frame from memory), so your bike should fit in with ease.

Take a towel to stop the chain oil getting on the upholstery.

Solid advice!
Just don't get caught with a pink towel in your boot

Cheers guys..

Soksta, your reply is first class, even got photos...

I'll make sure I've got plenty of rags/towels in my backpack to keep bike and car apart.

Thankd again.
