Default Which exhaust MY11 STi

Hey guys,
Trying to decide between the two exhausts, both are around the same price but hoping for some personal experience to help decide!

Or

Any feedback appreciated!

I've got the Ultrex. Very happy with it. Fitted perfectly. Nice deep boxer sound, loud enough when you go for it, quiet enough when the boys in blue are near You can hear a bit of it in my video on my driveway thread.

I got mine through maximum motorsports with ecutek at the same time. I've had it on since new and I am still happy with it and misses and kids don't complain either. I know the ultrex fits the my11 as they used my original exhaust for hanger locations etc.

^^ This may be the way I head.. although getting an EcuTek at MMS is a bit of a mission these days unfortunately.

pick your tuner on their ability, experinece and knowledge not the software used to tune
as for the exhaust I will throw out the option of having a custom made norm butler built exhaust but if you are on a tight budget then ultrex, xforce are proven options

I'm just going on 2nd hand info, but was told the tuner needs to fly accross from over east. Either way I don't care, I'm still getting MMS to tune my car as the tune on my 08 was fantastic!
SyncSubaru likes this.

No certainly not the case Mitch...the tune can be done at MMS and if need be, referred to Ben Taylor real time via email for fine tuning...
