Arguably you are totally incorrect
VTEC utilizes cam-changing only. It is older tech and was pretty much adopted from Porsche Variocam back in the day. It has been outdated since by i-vtec. vvtl-i as per the 1zz in my sportivo use cam changing and timing variation. Mivec also does to some extent and as such would be more "refined" than vtec. Just cos it has a cult following doesnt mean its the best. Like Subaru actually.
