It has been inspected, is it possible to get copies of these reports?
Seller is claiming it was only a broken spoiler due to a tree falling on it.

I'm thinking it's more trouble than it's worth.

Surely he would have taken pics of the fallen tree on his car. Ask him for said pics of tree on car to prove that it was only slightly damaged.

not sure a broken spoiler would constitute as a write off

i think its only possible for the current owner of the car to request any information and docs from any state roads departments. since the bloke was not honest with ya upfront probz best to let this fish get away
