Phillips seem to be the best, having said that iv had some no name cheapies which have lasted a few years.pretty sure Mao sells them and any auto place really
|
^^^ As above, had Phillips in mine now for over a year, no dramas whatsoever.
|
Mao at Evolution R (vendor on here) does Phillips HID kits for $220 (I think) fitted...

HID's are only illegal if you do not have auto Headlight leveling & washers.
ADR 13 requires that all vehicles fitted with headlamps (including HID) producing over 2,000 lumens (a measure of light output) have a self-levelling system and headlight washers. http://www.comlaw.gov.au/Details/F2005L03991
I see a lot of Cars on the Road @ night these days with the HID's not leveled correctly and quite blinding to other drivers. It's Pretty unsafe & IMHO is a fair rule . |
What about factory fitted HID's ?
|
After market is due to the high voltage I'm led to believe.

Factory fitted must comply with ADR 13. So they will have Auto Leveling & Washers. |
It's bullshit.
