DBA Rotor questions
Tried searching but DBA is too short to search on..
Needing to upgrade my brakes now due to the power increase, looking for info and opinions... 1. Are 02+ brembo's worth the cost upgrade over stock 4 spot 99 front brakes? Or will better disks, pads, fluid with the stockies be fine? 2. Where is the best place to get DBA disks from in perth? Also how much bigger than stock can you fit onto a 99 with stock calipers? Any info appreciated.... Cheers Brett |
DBA 5000's with fedro 3000's are the go :)

Personally I think use ferodo 2500's on the street. Save 3000's for the track. Your discs will like you more that way. |

Use the 4 pots unless they are a limitation or you really need more stopping power. [QUOTE=EVL WRX]2. Where is the best place to get DBA disks from in perth? Thanks guys, think I've decided on 4000's and either DS2000 or DS2500 Ferodo's.. MAY go 5000's on the front but it's a big jump in price...

Brett,
The brembos are nice, however keep in mind the GC8 is pretty light.... DBA 4000/5000s with nice pads (Ferodo DS2500 or Pagid Blue's) along with 5.1 fluid will be more than adequate IMO. If your doing all of what you mentioned, finish it off by getting a Brake M/Cylinder stopper. -D |
