Exhaust Advice

Hi all,
probably gonna get flamed to shit for this but ohwell,
yes tried searching which answered a few of my questions but not all.

So to start I'm wanting to remove the cats from my car, current setup is Full 3" TBE varex and suspect my car has the catted up-pipe which will be going too, performance wise not bothered more in to it for the noise yeah I love the rasp/loudness.

1. What needs to be done e.g replace current exhaust pipes or can a workshop simply take out the cats?

2. Can anyone recommend to me a workshop that will do it SOR.
( pm if you like )

3. Will my car require a re-tune?

4. Any disadvantages to running one, besides the cop attention e.g reliability wise.

If anyone can help with those questions muchly appreciated,

cheers.

Just take it off your self and punch the guts out of the cats.

Why do you want to remove the cats from your car? You would want at least one in there as if you get caught without one you will get bent over severely. God forbid you're in a crash and your insurance company inspects your car and finds you're not running a cat they'll probably tell you to jam your claim up your arse.

edit: alternatively do what is suggested above. At least it will look like you're running one

Just a personal preference really wanting something a bit different exhaust wise than the usual rex, probably should have been more specific wanting to go " straight through " ideally I will be keeping one cat in there as the reason you've just stated.

It's on the cards atm :p

Think about the dolphins choking on your harmful emissions.

Leave the exhaust and change the headers then, Equal length headers will be different to the usual Rex,

Chasing a louder note to the exhaust equal will completely kill it, hence I opted
For straight through etc

Norm butler exhaust ? Titanium will also give you a different note too.

LOL I don't like the chances of Norm making an illegal exhaust for a random, especially sans-cat.

Haha I was more suggesting keep the cat and get the norm butler as I hear they sounds awesome.
