Managed to get mine for either $120 or $140 through City Subaru, I was in a hurry to get one, so I didn't mind having to fork out the money.

Perth-WRX members have access to discounted prices through City Subaru as per this thread.

You could also get this item from one of the dealerships in the US (Chaplins or Subaru Online Parts) and might be able to get it delivered for around $100 (not factoring in currency conversions).
Failing that, you could get a generic high mount brake light from any of the automotive shops locally (ie Repco).

Edit:
Just checked on Subaru Online Parts and the price of the high mount stop light for the sedan (assembly and bulb) is $178.27 USD without freight.
