Had it enabled with Verso on my old STI. Good for consistent starts at sprints, hillclimbs etc

How long ago did you guys have it enabled on Verso? Sean told me they don't do it. Unless it's just not doable on the 08+...

I believe it's a 16 bit ECU option. 32 bit ECUs haven't been hacked to enable that feature.

I had an opportunity to discuss with someone who would know.

Before I'm asked it's all hexidecimal to me.

This was 2007 and 08 with our cars. 05 wrx and then an 05 STI.

Hope Verso can do it...else might have to go EcuTek then

I have Verso on a 05 STI got Sean to "enable" it for a small fee, set at 5.5k rpm... bulk smoke wheel spin etc been doing it since day one.. touch wood been good so far.

Even better if you have heaps of torque early in the rev range gets up and goes

Just out of interest. Is this a rev limiter or a genuine launch control? IE is it building positive boost at 0km/h?

how can it not get the turbo spinning russ?

I have launch control and anti lag with my autronics. From what I have seen I build about 0.8 bar at 5500rpm with the launch control. As soon as the clutch is dropped, the computer switches across to anti lag for between shifts automatically. Also have rotational idle to cool it all back down afterwards
