Noob tune

So I've got my MY11 booked in tomorrow morn at ASG For its first time tune (just a TBE on).

Now my noob question is, how long do these things usually take and if its a while, is there anywhere to kill time near ASG (walking distance)? Unfortunately I'm not local to the area and have no friends to keep me company..

Cheers!

Not sure on things to do last time I got my car tuned I dropped it off in the morning and picked her up when I got the call to collect when ready. I would say you will be in for a long wait.

I leave the car early and come back when Cash or Sean call you is my advice but they do have a fancy waiting room there now. Not sure if they have any decent porn or coffee though.

Malaga is an industrial estate and there is nothing around.

Catch taxi to train station, fark all to do around there and my guess would be few hours minimum, if by chance yours goes straight on.

Good idea, I think a taxi to Morley Galerria and a movie might be in order :)

Would be assuming a good couple of hours just in labour (ie fitting downpipe, exhaust, intercooler etc) and then a few hours to work on the tune.
Would estimate 4 to 6 hours.
Train/bus/taxi back to the city or nearest (hopefully) large shopping centre and do some shopping, eat something, buy a book and read it, watch a movie, etc.

Best of luck with the tune!

Edit: assuming that they are installing the dp/exhaust.
Would still say at least 4 hours minimum.

Walk to JB Hifi in Malaga?

No whorehouses nearby afaik.

Sorry, I should have worded my post differently. TBE is already on, just getting the tune done

Thought this might have been the case, hence the edit.
Would expect at least 2 to 4 hours if it goes without any hiccups along the way.

Enough time to go see a movie, brilliant. Don't think I'm ballsy enough to watch conjuring by myself, pain and gain it is.

Soksta 16-08-2013 08:42 PM

Any chance of having an update to this?
Keen to hear/view results!
:D

How does this compare to others? sound about right?

I so envy the 2.5l making power so early nice results. I still prefer rev happy frankinstine motor being slowly put together.

Soksta 20-08-2013 10:15 PM

Nice curve!
Would be happy with that :D

GTB Liberty 20-08-2013 11:12 PM

Nice ... I'd be happy with that. VF52 snail I assume?

Scary might be interested to see that ... Torque lasts longer.

aiball 20-08-2013 11:48 PM

impressive graph!
exhaust the only mod?

Straner 21-08-2013 04:07 PM

TBE 3" exhaust. Xforce Downpipe, custom job for the rest. Only real mechanical mod.

Other small mods have been completed but wouldnt affect power output, ie. BOV, Ultrex Short Shift.

From the replys looks like this is a decent result, that makes me happy, wish i did a 'before' run though for comparison!

There is most likely one - call "Cash" and ask him to search the files and email to you.
