Rota = $1000
Enkei = $1600 Approx (nt03 m items - Get great deals on Enkei Wheels items on eBay Stores!)

I have used LSD Motorsport in the past; great customer service and quick postage.

Either way you need decent offset and width to get the deisred affect of that Black WRX.

That's Nissan fitment on that car, you can't drive with wheels like that trust me.
Mine are a similar rim, Enkei 18 x 9 + 35 on a MY05STi and it's not a straightforward fit.
I needed to modify the rear fenders and use adjustable rear arms to shorten the rear track so they didn't smoke the sidewalls as soon as you accelerate. What's the point of having a car that looks like that if you can't go around a corner or boost it without shredding the tyres?

So what your saying is Stance is a waste if time :p

Blasphemy!

dtrally 08-09-2013 06:14 PM

What I'm saying is that you don't have to be a genius to bolt Nissan fitment rims on a WRX and snap some pics.

To assume that cars such as the one pictured can actually be driven would be a mistake.

DukeDrifter 08-09-2013 06:25 PM

Good man, they are absolutely sexy rims.

So that rim on rexnet wont fit on my car without modification on the rear?

Was about to buy it but saw your post. Now im in doubt.

They will fit and you will need guard work. It'll look good but will rub without the right settings and mods.

dtrally 08-09-2013 07:39 PM

They will stick out 20.7mm further than the rims I have on an identical car.
Mine has adjustable rear arms shortened by 15mm.
Mine has rear negative camber.
Mine still trash the tyre sidewall.

Rear fenders on MY05-07 STi cannot be easily modified, they do not have the same return under the fender that a WRX has hence nothing to 'roll' They have a sharp edge that's spot welded with the flare stuck over the top.

Unless you fit Outback style suspension your car or stretch on a tyre 50mm too narrow for the rim it will be no good with those rim specs.

REXLLENT 08-09-2013 10:06 PM

Have you tried solid imports??

THISS^^

You will need to mod your rear guards pretty heavily and put heaps of camber it, mine are 18 x 9 +30 IIRC

However if you just running it with stock suspension at stock height it should be ok might rub the side walls on heavy bumps tho

EDIT: PICTURE, this is what mine looks like
I want to change rims to add more width and more fatter tyre

DukeDrifter 09-09-2013 11:44 AM

thats not as bad as i thought, how much rub do you get ? im looking at 18x9 with +25

SUAVERNETT 09-09-2013 12:48 PM

Whats the size of your tyre mate?

Rexxar 09-09-2013 12:50 PM
Whats the size of your tyre mate?
235/45/18 .. I wanted to run more fatter but it will chop the side walls

Before doing the guards and camber and increasing the height... A LOT OF RUBBING

PS.. I can't have any more than 2 people in the car.. which is fine really

+25 will poke 5mm out more?

SUAVERNETT 09-09-2013 01:12 PM

Still undecided to buy those rim in RexNet:-(

My question is, will the offset on rexnet(+27) rim will be ok in my 06 sti if i put the stock spring? Or Just get a concave style +40 offset?

Thanks
Juls

Rexxar 09-09-2013 02:24 PM

it would be ok with the stock springs I would get the +40 variant just because I'm not a fan of that rims on rexnet sorry mang
