Default Pulled up next to an evo at the traffic lights and

down here its rare to see an evo, let alone a newish one.
black with black tint, looked sweet as
i didnt do a hard launch, he didnt launch... but when his boost kicked in (like straight away) he was gone. one car length, 3 car length...8 car length
was like a wrx racing an excel. sept i was the excel and he was the wrx

are evos really that fast or does it sound like he had some real leet mods running... my car had no chance and i thought it be able to at least keep up (a little) bit.

How modified is your car?
An Evo is more the equivalent of an STi
If you have a stock WRX then it's no wonder he chopped you up.

yes they really are that fast.
but not necessarily any faster in that situation than a recent model STi.
some mods to your 98 would let you keep within a few carlengths but a tuned evo or sti will always run away from you.

Thats odd.

My car feels slower than the WRX.

I thought so.

Still prefer the sudden kick back of the WRX when I hit 3000rpm.
