Wrx Sti engine numbers

Does anyone know how to identify an engine number. For eg, what type of car it's from.
I have a ej207 with engine number 557409. It's the engine number to the right of the intercooler. Can anyone tell me which model Sti that engine number is from?

No one can - it's just part of the vin or a sequence number - It means nothing at all.
