could you please let me know which cut & polish gear you used? My 2011 WRX has some light scratches especially around the side door area and front bumper and I would like to get her back to her Sunday best
Also got a nice stone hit on the silver wind screen surround, lucky it missed the screen. Appreciate any help.

-Edit-
Just to add, not saying it wont work, but this sort of thing in the hands of somebody untrained can cause irreversible damage to the paintwork, so its best to start soft and work your way up from there, instead of let-er-rip, burn through the paint, and be stuck going oh shit and definitely needing the respray.
its not what i thaught, agree it can be fixed with a moderate to heavy cutting compound (they are rated 1-10) and polish. easy job yourself, and dont be lazy and use a buffer to cut, it will look disgusting compared to by hand and way more chance of damaging it.. cut, polish, wax. boom

Default results

Well, thanks to the advice and encouragement of everyone on here I think I achieved some good results. After a wash, I used 2000grit sand paper in some areas. The compounding phase was quite tough going even with the polishing machine. The warmer days made things very difficult indeed. Polishing went marginally better and finally waxing seemed to go a treat. Its taken almost a week and I am bloody sore, but overall I am very happy with the results. I wonder how long it will last!

Great outcome! Polishing is such a satisfying process.
