Default Radiator Inhibitor for Aluminium Subaru Engines

Was just wondering if anyone knew what the best Radiator Inhibitor is for my MY02 WRX? I heard there was a certain one that was the best for it. I know you need to make sure it is suitable for Aluminium engines, but is there anything else I need to be aware of? Thanks if anyone knows.

p.s. bit of a noob, sorry haha

sorry mate, castrol you buy of the shelf is not genuine subaru! there are many different castrol coolants. Castrol does make the coolant for subaru to subaru specifications in Australia though.

i would get genuine subaru so you don't have any nasty corrosion issues though. mixing coolants is a bad idea.

Have used both. Both work well. Castrol pre mix is 8 dollars a can. Genuine subaru is roughly 69 dollars for 5l. Personally id use the genuine but the pre mix is fine also.

you should really flush the old coolant out before adding good subaru coolant
