Default WRX Sti - Do you recognise this car? crime

This car has allegedly been used in a theft of goods from a retail store south of the river

Someone on FB stated it 'might' have been a vehicle stolen with plates ghostrider but that cant be confirmed.

Id say the cops would know if it was stolen

Confirm the model please

Id be going with the possibility of it being 08 to current model wrx OR sti. if you have any other shots it might help narrow it down

So I totally didn't read the original post. I thought they were asking if anyone knew the vehicle, in which case it could be any number of peoples car, and 'claiming' it was used in a crime isn't good enough to start pointing fingers. Now that I have read it with my eyes open, and my brain somewhat engaged, carry on all.

Snappy profile name too.

Looks to me like a 2010 onwards WRX STi, or just same year range WRX with the STi rear wing. Unfortunately the photo leaves too much to imagination.

By far not an uncommon model, unless it happens to be the plasma blue spec r (cant really tell) can't really get more specific.

Yeah, a late night post. The image has the time stamp on it.

The image was taken via security camera outside the store that was robbed on the night the store was broken into.

So the car has no distinctive features? The same image was posted on Perth Crime reports Facebook.

Obviously its not distinctive enough for anyone to recognise the vehicle.

Has it got something unusual around the rear spoiler? The upright thing with two reflections top and bottom? I can't make out what that is from the photo?

A) Game show question?
B) The OP somehow connected with the alleged crime?
C) Trolling FB crime posts?

If working for ACA.... it's a Nissan Skyline.

Looks like light reflection off a centre support maybe. Its distinctive feature is it has no distinctive features?

Black mags? Blue paint?

The unfortunate outcome of high theft vehicles is higher premiums due to higher risk.
