Opinions on buying this car?
 

Back in the market for a wrx only managed to last 2 months without one and i cant fight the urge no more so im back in the market.

Just saw this and wondering if anyone knows anything about it, or could give me any info on why or why not i should be interested in the car seems a good deal.

Any other wrxs on the market that are worth bringing to my attention please do so after a 04-06 preferably.

Could be a good buy, get an expert Subaru experienced mechanic to check it out IMHO.
Should have an upgraded fuel pump. Cooling system, clutch and gearbox could be struggling at that hp level.
Brakes and other suspension components could be rather tired at that age. Could easily have/develop boost leaks (easy fix) get under car to look for damage or leaking gaskets. Get a compression test.

06 has a 2.5L...

This one is a far better example, and a cheaper price. Could be worth looking at?

06 on stock internals, cranking 300+ alarm bells would be ringing for me.. 2.5's dont like to rev and the td06 needs it

Twist mount, fmic and 550cc injector alert me. Its not the right set up imo.

That knock on effect will take a while to kick in and won't mean much for sub 20K WRX's. It's mainly ppl trying to sell/trade late model STi's that are going to be stung.

awesome, thanks for the input thought it was a bit odd seeing a td06 pushing 330hp with stock internals. Anyone selling a decent wrx haha?

The battle is trying to find something that fits the description not much on the market that isn't either completely stock or has some bullsh*t amount of k's on it ! Any other forums you would suggest that i might find some decent wrxs!

The bug is biting bad need that AWD turbo feel.
