2014 Forrester

Looking at replacing the misses car later on in the year and this is one car that we have singled out as a potential purchase.
Still doing our research, test drives, etc at the moment but I would love to hear back from any one who has owned or currently owns a 2014 Forrester.

Turbo Diesel or Turbo Petrol ?

American Dave 23-05-2014 02:34 PM

There are reported acceleration issues relating to hose clamp failures of all things. A good aussie thread on the subject here OzFoz.com • Login

Only concerned about Turbo Petrol at this point in time.
I have heard a couple of minor issues over at Whingepool (they have a thread dedicated to the 2013 release).
I'll look over at OzFoz over the weekend!

Haven't heard of this before.
Last time I sat in a XV it felt a lot smaller than the Forrester.

correct the XV is smaller than the SJ Forester

The levorg has peaked my interest as well, however one of the requirements for the new car is to be higher than than the car that it will be replacing.
The height of the Forrester is good.
