Hey guys. I'm looking for some tips and numbers. What's the maximum ball park figure power and torque I'd be able to achieve on an unopened 2.5 06 sti. Ive been told around 600hp on e85 using a gt30 .And is E85 no no on this model? especially since it's parked up to 4 weeks at a time. Thanks

On an unopened EJ257 with a GT30 + E85 (making anywhere near 600HP at the flywheel let alone WHP) would open up rather quickly I would imagine.

block is apparently rated to 500hp, though it wont survive that. your going to get ridiculed hard here mate. 280ish hp 440nm atw seems to be about where the tuners feel safe and easily capable on standard 257 sti setup. some get pushed upto about 330whp with aftermarket addons like fuel systems/turbo.. but i dont think they usually last very long.

600 hp on a stock 257? No chance, even if it did it wouldn't last long, if any time at all. With serious mods overall not impossible but you'd need serious bank to reach that, and as said other cars could get close for a lot less.

E85 just requires fuel system work ie money, but in terms if sitting for 4 weeks at a time that may be an issue as the fuel goes bad, not sure on how long it takes though.

Do you realise 600hp in a STI is a fuck load more than 600hp in a Commodore . I'd be aiming for a more realistic 350hp which is a frikkin quick car. Go for a drive in someone's STI with 300+hp to get an idea and stop smoking crack.
