Question about a beep after turning engine on

Hey guys how's it going. I'm just looking for a little insight on something. I have a 2004 WRX and whenever I turn the engine on after about 15 seconds or so there will be a single short beep.

Just wondering what that is as I can't seem to find it anywhere in the manual unless I've misread it.
