WRX blow off valve?

Hi all

Just wanted a bit of an idea as to what blow off valve is good for a 2.0L WRX 2006 model. Has an TE37 turbo, bigger intercooler (sti top mount). What brands are best and would sound great thinking of Perrin, and HKS?

Also what are good tyres which handle well for about the 300 bucks mark?

Cheers

In regards to the BOV you can't beat the factory one.

U only go for aftermarket if u wanna adjustability and running high boost, but that money can be put at better place. And hks would be best for u.

There are many copy HKS units on the market.

Gorden, Brett fitted one of these the other day after his Perrin unit was no longer performing. The change in the car was quite amazing.

Good to know. Heard about them but never seen anyone tried it yet. Might give it a shot later.

Yes mate almost all turbo cars come factory with bypass valve (blow off valve)

I would put the money into a better handling mods and suspension upgrades
I.e. adjustable swaybars, upgrade the endlinks upgrade all the bushes etc etc

Agree with seagull.. I bought a hks of a guy who said was original, 2 weeks later blew it apart now have original and still going strong but I've recirculated mine also so it's not so loud

The stock bypass valve is located on the passenger side at the front of the sti intercooler you have.
