You can do it via your Multi function display under "car setting/audible signal setting".

Go to page 208 (section 3-83) of the pdf below which should be similar to your owners manual and follow the instructions.

http://www.buddssubaru.com/assets/wr...ers-Manual.pdf

Hope that helps

Gents,
It appears that the AUDM OS is different to the USDM OS.

There are many features that we don't get access to that the US does.

Disappointing as I think the only way to edit those parameters is with Subaru Select (or perhaps someone has a hack).

How do I know?
I have an MY16 STi ..

Cheers,

Joe.

Anyone figured out if there is a way to do this?

Subaru dealer says it's not possible on the new WRX / STI however I have heard of some people having the option enabled.

Try this:

Audible Chirp when locking/unlocking give you an audible signal when the doors lock and unlock. If desired, you may turn the audible signal off.

Do the following to deactivate the audible signal. You can also use the same steps to restore the function.

1. Sit in the driver’s seat and shut all doors and the rear gate. .

2. Hold down the UNLOCK side of the power door locking switch.

3. While holding down the “UNLOCK” side of the power door locking switch, pull the key out and re-insert it into the ignition switch at least 6 times within 10 seconds
after Step 2.

4. Open and close the driver’s door once within 10 seconds after Step 3.

5. The turn signal lights flash 3 times to indicate completion of the setting.

Hi shaunus, thanks very much for the reply.

I have the push button start - any idea if there is a procedure for this?

Does the push button start the car without your foot on the brake?

I found some info regarding turning off the seat belt chime and where the key start involved turning the electrics on once before the other steps, the push button equivalent was to push the button twice without foot on brake for the same effect.

I'd try perhaps replacing shaunus' step three with 12 pushes of the start button without starting the engine and see how that goes. Could work?

I thought of that but it didn't work unfortunately.

Out of interest, does anyone have the beep enabled? I am starting to wonder if they have actually removed this option?
