I had the S32 alarm installed into my late 2015 delivered MY16 STi.
It did not come with an alarm because there were issues with the original alarm installed in the first MY15 series.
There was no beep on arm/disarm or door open/close on mine either.
When I took the car in for its first service, I knew it could be done via research/web search and asked them to activate it despite the known low volume of the chirp.
So mine does the beeps on arm and disarm open/close using both keyless entry or the key fob buttons.
