How to spray on undercoating without a hoist?

Hey it's me again...so my car arrived and I went to supercheap auto and bought some spray-on undercoating and wax remover solvent. Since the quotes I got from places which provide undercoating programmes are mostly around $600~700, I decide to give it a try and DIY(gloves, goggle and respirator purchased). But I live in an apartment and don't have access to a garage and not to mention hoist, the plan is stuck here.

So I'm wondering, how do other ppl in this forum manage to DIY such jobs without having a garage? Or it there some place where you can pay for using their hood for a while? Thanks!

Axle stands and a jack, depending on how the undercoat sprays 'i.e how wet and heavy you apply it', you may need to put some cardboard or a sheet on the ground so it doesn't stain.

Make sure you refer to your owners manual for the correct areas to jack your car up and place axle stands as you can run into BiG trouble

+1 it's well worth investing in a decent set of 4 axle stands and a trolley jack.

There is a DIY workshop near Forrestfield, where you can rent their floor space and tools to DIY.

Probably what you are after!

Looks good, what sort of paint did you use on the underbody? Need some sort of special durable paint or does ordinary paint hold up?

I've always used This. Its available in black or white.

I've then painted over it with a 2 pack paint. It's very effective.
