The AEM filter is a k&n I am pretty sure. May just have a different logo stamped onto it. I have one of each and they look the same.

It is k&n, but its dry type. Should have worded it better.

Agreed, the Mao stuff is getting old, I've dealt with him 600km away and haven't had an issue. Guy saved me from buying a built bnr34 with fucked rings...

As for the filter I'm pretty sure I have a new K&N in the garage from an older project that I never got around to using it on. Will give that a go. I have used the oiled filters in the past with no dramas. Will probably find I'll be cleaning the maf even more but should be more comforting knowing I'm cleaning oil not dust from it

Funnily enough, I ran into one I know in Barcelona a few months back. Met another random english sluz in Ibiza who is flying over to skimpy in Kal again as well. Small world....Full of skimpy's it seems.
