Dodgy V6 STi for sale
 

Well it seems the dodgy STi is up for sale.... AGAIN! funny that!

About 4 years ago I went looking for a good condition V6 STi. I came across this one #325. In a nutshell.... stay away from it. I did some research on it as the guy insisted he wanted 22k in cash and that I questioned the kms on it at the time (was 2011 and only had 75,000 it, but i had found an old add online for #325 for sale in 2006 with 112,000kms)
- It is a re-birthed car. It does not have 141k, it has over 230,000kms
- It has sustained a large side collision and was a non-repairable write off
- Gearbox was destroyed and replaced with an RX gear box. (weaker)
- I test drove this car and it rattled made some really odd noises.

I just dont want to see anyone stung by this. This car is only good for spare parts and is a dud...

It has been sold 4 times in 2 years.

It may have been an insurance write off but that means it was simply non-economical to repair (cost-wise for insurance) & someone has bought it to rebuild it after the insurance paid it out.

It's not a rebirth - it's registered with the original vin number & it REV's checks as such.

Any GC8 with a jap cluster is going to display the wrong KM - I don't hide the KM with mine.

Just saying.

This sold about a year ago for around 6k by a vietnamese guy in Girrawheen. The person who bought this worked in a dealership. Hence why I think there is some confusion or dodgy play by the guy who offloaded it. Either way it was farked. Even at 6k, it wasn't worth touching! The body was farked!!!
