Default Bad E85 at Armadale. 24/10/15

United Armadale has out of order E85. Apparently there is water in the tank. My 60km fuel run just turned into a 100km round trip.

yeah. i drove to armadale, only to find out there was no e85. then had to drive across town to ozzy park. lucky i still had a 1/4 tank in the sled, else id be fucked.

i usually go to ozzy park. but i thought id mix things up a bit and go to armadale. least i got to burn down more of the older fuel in the tank. i only filled it back upto half way. but filled both my jerry cans. I am gonna try and run with about a 1/4 tank in the car tomorrow. Shouldnt be an issue now that the surge tank is installed.

Stupid question, can I use e85 on a standard car, with no tune or mods? Would it yield any power or cause more damage than its worth?

Damage, car needs fuel system modifications & a tune to run it. You could run up to 10% ethanol safely, when united were doing P100, but that product has been discontinued by them.

i thought p100 was just premium with ethanol added until the octane was 100. pretty sure they do an e10 which is a proper 10% ethanol mix?

Yeah, they just quote "up to" 10% ethanol on it. Well I guess they did now it's a thing of the past.

United E85, is it actually V8 supercar stuff? They run the green sucrogen last time I checked.

Lexia, Padbury, and Osborne Park....
Stick to these three I guess...haven't seen lexia or padbury 'out of order' yet but the ozzy park pump is a little iffy sometimes, been out of order every now and then.
