01 sti engine --> 01 wrx chassis questions
Hey guys i had a quick look through the search and saw that according to this forum you have to repin and swapping wires.
http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/general-...ugeye-wrx.html So my question is, when i swap in a 01 sti engine into my 01 wrx, would i just need to wire up everything and leave the avcs unplugged if i'm connecting it to a wrx ecu? Or is the ease of having the sti ecu with the sti engine outweigh the wiring fiddle around? |

All I can say it's fiddle work I deciding wether to do this on my motor swap easiest option is a compleat sti loom swap. Wrx Ecu will not run the avcs on the sti motor you will need the sti Ecu and the avcs wiring in the Wrx is not available so this will need to be wired in. Good luck.

AVCS + different tune due to that...you would need to do an ECUTek or similar tune to get the best out of it...or buy my Autronic ECU...but your wiring harness may be an issue in either case...
