Hopefully i have devised a way of making use of sequential properly(flat shift) with-out the ignition retard backfire which was blowing exhaust valves open(when inlets are open) and igniting methanol&air in manifold and pipework.
I have installed a Bosch/Porsche Electronic throttle, the DBW unit was cheap as new(~$200) but the re-wire and Motec upgrade(E888 and DBW unlock) was balls, but it has allowed me to expand datalogging and control strategy(running 4 walbro 450's each current monitored and logged for example(they draw ~17.5amps per pump...70amps in fuel pumps !!))

Only problem now is being able to set-up/test DBW shift in anger, in an unlicensed race car..might be going to drags soon.
TROLLEY and nick73 like this.

Seagull, I've only been on here a few years and it seems obvious to me. Ive seen a lot of people come with good intentions and then go. If your no subie guru or don't conform to the core circles ideas you get tromped into the ground. Its simply been surpassed by more positive constructive communities.

How come you didn't use a DBW unit from a G3 or newer wrx/sti?
