No, not on a road car. Might have a rear cage but I'd never put a full cage in a car I'm going to drive without a helmet.

The GC8 looks nice in Miami Blue....similar to the new colour on my A110. A mate of mine has a 70's Porsche in its original factory Miami Blue....really suits that car.
But I think your GD will look great in white (Ford Frozen White?)

Mercedes Arctic White.
My Old STI type R was painted with it and it's the best and brightest white I know of

It is my own fault, I should have known that 'Perth' in the location meant Perth Scotland.

Anyway- reminiscing about a winter in UK, riding my motorbike, sliding sideways on ice, somehow recovering. I think I'd rather put up with more corrosion from salt than have a slide under a truck.
So Daz, using underbody protection, good decision. That white on body and wheels looks good.

I managed to get a full day on it today.

I got the underside prepared and ready for sealing and painting tomorrow.

Due to space constraints and not wanting to climb over everything whilst I'm painting I'm doing it in two goes.
2/3 of it will be done tomorrow which will be upto the rear diff carrier.

I'll get all that done and then the gearbox, cradle and front crossmember and front running gear can go back on the car.
I'll tidy up the garage and then do the same with the rear.

A little more progress.*

Thought I'd tart the gearbox up as it was in a pretty sorry state.

Starting to put the front end together again.
