My WRX Has an Interesting Interior
 

Hello everyone, just bought a Green GC8 WRX last week with an interesting interior, it has cream carpet with cream inserts in the door trims but it has the standard black with red inserts WRX seats. On the outside it looks just like a standard WRX. On the ID plate it has an option code called 62. Does anyone know if this is a rare interior trim or is it fairly common (just about every standard GC8 WRX I've seen just has black carpet with black inserts in the door trims) any help would be appreciated.

No, its a manual.

My guess is a MY00 LTD WRX. That a previous owner has changed the seats in?

I think they came in the Dark green colour? I know they came in the dark Blue and Black.

sounds like the 'limited' model, they came with cream leather seats & the doors & carpet as you've described, i thought they only came in black paint though, previous owner may have swapped them

Interesting, there are no stickers or badges to say that it is something special unless they have been removed, it has gold wheels as well but I don't think they are the original wheels.

Wood grain steering wheel as well?

They didn't come with any badging or stickers,cream interior, leather non wrx seats, wood grain and leather steering wheel and standard MY00 silver rims.

I also thought they only came in auto hence my original question but could be wrong.

I know Damo used to have a red/maroon one and he changed out the seats and box etc...

No it has the standard leather steering wheel.

Could quite possibly just be an interior replacement by previous owner or a accident repair with the airbag wheel replaced...

Any ideas if the option code on the ID plate 62 could explain anything.

Sounds like my car. Came with all the tan leather trim etc. Wore down and I swapped the seats for standard buckets. Have bought a new wheel but yet to swap... But I have also changed the carpet and door cards.

The tan interior isn't to everyone's taste!

The door trims on my car are more of a suede material than what that car has but same colour, the carpet and shift pattern badge on the centre console are the same as my car though.
