Stock position subaru flange turbo's suck......don't expect some mungral "3076 core" in bolt on subaru housing to perform anywhere near the same as a t4/t3 genuine Gtx3076
If I was to go twist mount, would you know anyone that fabricates the manifolds?

I have been seriously considering twist mount

Adelaide Performance Engineers are agents here if you find yourself stuck. Brett, the owner is always very helpful.

You dont need to get a full set of custom headers. You can just get an of the shelf set and modify the up-pipe. Or even just make an adapter that converts and use all standard location parts.

The down pipe needs to be cut and modded to match the turbine outlet flange and new angle.

You should check out the link ECUs too. Link and Vipec are basically made by the same bunch of kiwis. But i think the current range of link g4+ is would be better than equivalent vipec.

I see in your signature that you have a gt3076r. Did you already order one? Did you get the gt3076r or the gtx3076r ?
