Buying a VF34 from the US
 

Hey guys, I have been chasing up prices for a VF34 all over the place on the net and I have found several places that sell them in the US. Has anyone bought one from the US and if so how do you go about it, cost stamp duty etc etc

buy it and hope u don't get slugged for customs and tax when it comes thru, if u do, u gotta pay for that as well...

What kind of prices including shipping are you looking at from the US?

I have had prices recently from deadbolt of $105usd + insurance and from forced performance $234usd which I think included insurance.

which includes free shipping. These prices converted are around the $1100 mark Aust Dollars. I have sent emails to these companies but I have not had a reply as yet. So I am chasing up if anyone has purchased from the US

perthwrx members have had a huge dud group buy at gruppe s a few yrs back. maybe stay away from them...

Thanks for the tip, I will stay away from that company, now that only leaves the ebay US style for $925 US which includes free shipping, but I want to know all the hidden prices for importing such an item

u'll get stung customs tax plus 10% gst worst case scenario. but it depends if customs lets it thru or not. most of the time, they don't hit u for anything. it's a hit and miss thing.

I think I will just go an buy it from the US and see what happens and post the experiance when it arrives. Someone on the net WRCSTI03 has one VF34 for sale for $1000 which I thinks is too much for a second hand one
