Default 2002 WRX O2 sensor P1130

Hey all I'm looking for some help, I have my engine light permanently on due to the O2 sensor code P1130. I have a modified exhaust system and the ecu was modified at the time till I took it to Subaru and for some reason they screwed my ecu and they pleaded the 5th, so I had the ecu replaced and now the engine light is on. So without modding the ecu is there away to bypass the O2 so the engine light don't come on? Someone mentioned in passing bridge the O2 sensor will rid the engine light but he didn't go into depth on how to do it?

Anyway help would be great.

Cheers

Apparently the O2 sensor is fine it's the aftermarket exhaust that sets it off. They have cleared the code but keeps coming up. Subaru said to take it to a mod place for the ecu.

You can use a resistor in place of the O2 sensor and it will give a reading the ECU is happy with.

One of mine was replaced with a resistor before I bought it and the other one is still in place and working normally.

I don't know what resistor to use but it shouldn't take more than a few mins on Google.

*edit*
After a quick search it's my EGT sensor that has been replaced with a resistor and not the 02 sensor.

All the information I found with a quick search is basically people arguing on NASIOC about if you can or can't use a resistor in place of the O2 sensor.
