WRX seats

Anyone know what year these are out of? I picked them up on gumtree last night at a pretty good price, pretty much perfect apart from a very small bit of worn foam in the usual place on the bottom of the seat but the cloth is pristine.

I did have a look and I think possibly 04/05 but ????

Yeah they are in excellent condition, the guy bought them to put in his car but they sat in his shed for years, just wanted them gone, gotta be on the button with gumtree, in the last 3 weeks I've picked up a $400 engine stand for $50, a $300 1,250kg engine crane for $130 and these for $120, pretty handy living down Warnbro because most people won't travel south of here :)

Bugeye confirmed, they look factory new, nice catch

Pimpreza 03-08-2017 11:07 PM

Yeah probably, only a couple of light bits of dirt that'll easily wipe off, I only bought them because they were cheap lol but I'm doing up an old VG Valiant but possibly going to make it AWD 2.5L STI Turbo power instead of a 5.2L so they might go in that :) (should be lighter than a GC8) I had my bug for a couple of years but probably spent less than 2 hours driving it, gf had it most of the time or I was fixing it.

Plenty of shoulder room compared to any earlier WRX's I had.

Lol

Fucking lol you if it happens, I've got an old GC front end sitting here, just had the concrete extension done to the drive and side of the house so I'll have somewhere to pull the front off the VF and see what lines up, my car which weighs more takes 13sec to get to 170kph, the 5.2L V8 in it now takes 33sec, it'll be about the same weight as a GC8 if it works out.

I just ordered all 4 lower guards from Qld, should have seen the dodgy job the pricks did on the rear, I must have pulled out at least a kilo of bog, lazy prick who did it didn't even sand the tin he used to rivet in so the bog never stuck, just came out in massive chunks haha, already done most of the C pillar patching but haven't tried to start it yet, gotta do that soon.

Ok

I pop down and check it out this week
