Interested in having a mini perth-wrx rally day

G'day guys..

Just wondering who here would be interested in a mini perth-wrx rally day?

Would need to find someone with some large farm or something similar we could use.. some timing gear (stop watches or something) blah blah blah

Idea's people?

why a farm??? just use the special stage shortcuts around perth. traffic makes it that more interesting as well

Ok.. well as far as i can fathom we will need the following

1. a place to carve up some dirt or grass (private farm would be good as it wont attract too much attention from the police).

2. some predetermined routes where participants use regular roads to get to another stage (of course you will need to follow signed speed limits etc etc).

3. people who will help with timing and other marshall related exercises.

4. awards and prizes for places or points towards rexpo something like that.

5. disclaimer that your responsible for your own well being and all that legal stuff.

Anything else i miss?

would need a fair wack of space, I know of a few areas that are around 10acres but the majority of it is surrounded by horse properties and is sandy. (I ride the area on my CR)

Even if you had off road tires on, after about 4-5 cars on a circuit it would be as soft as the beach..

Harder than it sounds I think, unless you are keen for gravel/bauxite runs..(I'm not)

but a nice grass track could be fun

disclaimers don't mean shit.
I hope you are ready to be sued and fined when someone turns their car into a ball of scrap.
Public liability insurance?
not to mention stupidly mentioning timing and marshals
ps have fun hope you don't kill anyone!

a grasskhana - yes please, but the only problem in WA - is no grass paddocks, just dirt. On my uncles farm in NZ they run a yearly grass-khana, basically set up a few cones in a paddock and time everyone around the course. RS liberty club are doing a similar thing in tassie.

hmmm.. is there enough grass out the back of the MC long track ??? ;)
