Car buying advice
Hi guys,
Fell into some money recently. Looking to spend 40k on a subi. What in your opinions is the best way to go. Whatever i buy will be fitted with TBE and a tune after i buy it. My considerations from looking around are a 2015 sti with 42000 km or there are numerous 2015 - 2017 wrxs at around 35-40 grand. From my reading it looks as if the wrx is not that much worse off then the sti? Only missing 30 odd hp and having a lesser turbo lag as well. I understand the sti comes with all the gadgets like sports mode etc..jusg curious as to how you guys would apparoach it. Cheers |

What will the car be used for is the main question?
STI is certainly a good starting point if you intend to modify further than an exhaust and tune. The 6 speed, brembos and DCCD are also great features. People often buy the WRX and modify it at a cost of double the initial difference to get into a STI.

primarily it will be a daily driver. I had a 265 hp 2013 wrx that was great but always felt like i wanted a lil bit more oomf i think the sti and the bolt ons will provide that. I am just unsure as to whether or not the features oin the sti will justify the price difference.
