Has anyone else put a FMIC on an 06?
If so what did you do with the front bar? The reason mine hangs low is because of the big metal front bar the FMIC is totally flush with it it has nowhere else to go, unless I totally rip out the front bar and change the whole front end setup????

I saw one on a 06 STI @ City Subaru when I was there for a service and it didn't hang low like yours......

Anyone from this site, I wouldn't mind having a gander to see what he did.

People use a smaller core. Ie, not as high.

Process West cores are the usual 600x300 afaik and seem to sit well.

A 600x300 core would be too big to fit nicely in an 06.

I'm sure once a proper 06 kit has been developed it will include a new front bumper support bracket. Just like what is supplied with FMIC kits from APS.

Jaron, the last time I was at RT (about 2 months ago) I saw a HKS kit on a Blue 06 sti. fitted perfect. I understand Blitz make a good 06 sti kit as well.

If you want to keep yours, no reason why not, might have to bight the bullet and get the frontbar cut.

dooooohhh not front bar cut! Why not just get price for HKS, Blitz or APS taht will fit correctly for your $70K car now! Then just sell off the other one, come on you know it's the way to go! :D

The APS units are the cleanest looking, they are short and long, similar to my core

I think most other things ur gonna have to do alot of chopping
