to adjust the wiper arm just loosen the nut under the the cap at the end of the wiper arm, then move the wiper arm a little. they do get stuck so just gently wobble it up and down a bit till it comes free :) the adjust them so they wipe in the correct area and stop at the right spot
my problem is that if you get out of the car you can grab either of the wipers and move them up & down & there seems to be like 100mm play, when the wipers are on it is hitting the trim on the 'a' piller and the black stuff between the bonnet & the windscreen, i think i nedd to pull the black strip off & see what teh control arms are doing that link the motor to the wiper arms, i suspect a worn out bush, anyone pulled one apart before? |
found an article on nasioc, seems its just the ball joint link behind the wiper motor, easy fix

I got the same prob...
I fixed it by turning up the stereo louder lol |
i'll report back how easy it actually is to fix & what i used

$67 from subaru, brand new, because you have to buy the complete arm, can't just buy the call joint
$100 from jws, secondhand, because you have to buy the complete assembly with the 2 links and the arm go figure, i'll be going past subaru tomorrow to order me new arm |
