Default Glass polishing - how to?

I have a few fine scratches on my windscreen where I stupidly followed an instruction to remove a texta number with a kitchen scourer! Any advice on how to remove the scratches/what Polish to try?

Nah I meant that I don't think its possible to remove scratches from glass, you will have to replace the windscreen.

andrew, give the guy that replaced your windscreen a call. Mr. Windscreen or something, can't remember his name. He might have the tools (or contact) to help and he's cheap

yeah, you are screwed. new windscreen time.

However, I have waxed my windscreen before with NXT Gen wax. it is better than rainx and no it does not affect your wipers.

Andrew who was the clever dick who told you to use a scourer? Wasn't a short chap was it?

Give Maurice McCarthy at Autoglym a call...they make something which could assist 9201 0022

was told to use a scourer to remove the chalk paint used at the plex after drag combat last year. scratched the crap out of my window too. I went to novus in malaga and they have a machine which polishes the glass quite well. Only a few small ones left near the edge of the glass as the machine works on vacuum and could not get into the tight bits.

Give them a try. Glass polish didn't work as the scourers cut too deep.

get a quote for the polish and also for a new windscreen, weigh up the costs.

Toni
