Subaru official figures state 10.9L/100km for MY06 WRX (550kms per tank) and 11.9L/100km for the MY06 STi (504kms per tank). Officially MY05 WRX is 10.0L/100km (600kms per tank)

You guys are all very lucky my bucket of bolts is kind to me and will only give me 6.2kms per litre (approx 275k per tank max) so apart from the occasional cruise outburst i drive it like a nana.......

Default Fuel Report

Mines not the STI model, its a 2004 WRX with STI bolt on's. With a 45 litre tank I get around the 400 - 450 klm mark before I must go in.

Some of you are quoting 60 litre tanks. What model comes with the 60 litre, as mine is only the 45 litre tank?????

Is it that you think its 60 when only its a 45 litre tank. When I first got my car I thought jeesh the fuel economy is ratshit then I realised that it only took 45 litres to fill up.

MY01 - MY07 ADM are all 60 litre tanks.

I have not heard of 45 litre tanks.

Even a GX or RX impreza has a 50 litre tank.

Default Fuel WTF

As I stated mines the 2004 Model WRX not as you put it pre 2001, and it has the 45 litre tank fitted. Its was bought brand new from the dealership. As the thread stated its about fuel economy not pre 2001 models. Mines a 2004 which gets approx 400 klms to a tank using a 45 litre tank, go figure...............

Yep filled the beast up today and it was MT. It took 45 litres to fill.....Reading the post's it seems that I have a problem or I got a 45 litre tank, has anybody else in the same predicament as I am. The fuel tank is definitely a 45 litre tank. I will check with Subaru in the morning and see what they have to say...

Till then
