your lucky. A un-named person on this forum has written off a car by continuing to drive on a "bubble tyre" with it going pop in the wet through a roundabout and causing the vehicle to spin, hit a kerb then flip.

At least u didnt write urself off.

Yeah I have learnt my lession. Lucky I was driving "Lightly"

If anything I hope this also serves as a warning for others and not just me.

Consider yourself extremely lucky.

I was in Lombardi's once and there was a diablo that did the same thing. The tyre started to delaminate and thrash around inside the wheel arch. The new headlinght alone was over $6k. Total bill four months later was very nearly $100k. If it was not for the flat tyre the car still looked driveable.

diablos have nissan 300zx headlights not sure all models do though.

I hit a curb like that, wasnt from burst tyre though. Mine was more inecscusable but we wont go in to that. . The thing was the curb just happened to be one of the biggest around!!! Radiator, chassis straighteneng, suspension, bla bla bla. Ended up being a tad under 5 grand and a very hurt ego!!
