Paint code - and where to get paint???

Just got back from Alliance rim Repiars - having my GTR wheels redone in the stock colour.
Now the issue I have is I need to find the paint. From what I've been told is the the colour I need is 'JP2 Outback Gold' (pri met) and it looks like this:

Anyone help / point me in right direction as to where I can get this paint or similar?

Thanks in advance guys

Try Autopower car paint centre. They are at 200 Balcatta rd Balcatta. I think they also have a shop in East Vic Park. They have all sorts of paint codes and can mix it up and put into spray cans etc.

Dan,

If it is a standard Nissan colour (I'd suggest it is due to the code JP2), Auto pro can make it up for you. They made me up a batch of Blue Steel for my wrx and it matched perfectly, and all they needed was the paint code...

Cost was about $50 for 500mls....

Auto Pro did some Nissan stuff for me, really good man.

Hey Dan,

Have u noticed that bnr34 rims have a bit of a chameleon paint jobby??

When I had my bnr34 rims repaired/repainted by alliance the resprayed colour was an exact match to the original when looking at the rims straight on, but at an angle the original was a very noticable darker gold...

repainted:

Thought it would be too hard to find matching paint so i havent bothered. :P

cheers,

That is NOT stock color - I garantee you. Standard colour does not change.

Alliiance as good as they are at repairing rims (dropping mine off this week) are hopeless at colour - as I found out talking to them last tuesday.

I will try once more tomorrow to get JP2 Outback gold - if I cant - then they will be painted Techno Grey (standard nissan colour for the later models).

Not just hopeless at colour, hopeless at painting full stop!! I had mine done there and they ALL flaked within 4 months, but I never had time to take them back, then when one was repaired again under warranty, the paint had flaked off it within 3 months.

Shitty paint jobs, just get your repairs done there and painted by someone decent.!!
