Default Subaru B4 STI

I don't know if its a fake or not or its a one off, but the other night when I was out patrolling I noticed a Suburu B4 STI version. It looked a brand spanker.

Has anyone else seen one of these, if they are selling them I want one

um, heard something about one being produced but the 'STi' bit is only a little cosmetic jobby and some suspension upgrades.

i could be wrong though, so avoid cruisifying me if i am, he he.

but if they do one, i'll crawl over broken glass for it.

Normal B4 already comes with factory forgies and 195kw.

Sti version is suspension mods and minor cosmetic differences. Not much to improve really. though they really should have done the brakes too.

This one had the brembo brakes and you could see the pink suspension and it was brand spanking new. It had a older chick in it as well driving it all slow and stuff

There is a Liberty STi. Has the 6MT from the STi and STi engine (2.0T, 196KW???, don't think it was the 2.5). 18" STi rims (Rays or OZ racing I think) along with suspension, brembo's etc. I saw one in the Ozzy park show room when I was buying my car, about April I think.

theyre not an actual sti, theyre just a locally developed sti version by subaru australia for the aus market. from the reviews i've read theyre pretty crap too, apparently dont add much for the price they demand.

That's right they are tuned by STI and not specifically put together in the same way as a normal STI. There are Liberty's which are STI tuned, and the improvements add somewhat to the cars overall performance but a huge leap ahead on the standard 2.0L or the 2.5L Liberty sedan or wagon. There are also some Liberty's running around that have bits and pieces from STI on them and display a STI badge on the back, again more a local thing just made for Oz market.
