Well i think i'll do some hardcore haggling for 02 sti's over the next couple of days. Have to say insurance is a bit of a turn off but oh well its hardly cheaper for a normal wrx anyway

02 STI is a much better package overall. Thrown in an ECU edit and a nice exhaust and you'll have a reliable car capable of 12s.Plus the 02 STI's lights are quite nice compared to 02 WRX lights. I like them.

Just out of curiousity, what would be the weight difference between an '02 sti and a 03 WRX. 02 WRX's are a heavier car across the board arent they ???

"ECU edit" - haha nice and neutral. thats what they use in commodores and falcoons innit?

The STI's are heavier due to the 6 speed gearbox

Up pipe not required '02 STi already has a catless up pipe as standard....
'02 STi has the best seats of any STi also...
Looks...well thtat's personal opinion...I think the '02 looks better than '03-5 at the front...
