Default The 86 build

A friend asked what power is the stock 86 engine with a set of pistons and rods good for. I said, let’s see what it can do

Changed the diff ratio, fitted mechanical lsd while I was at it. Fitted wider rubber and found it still lights them up.

Collected another complete engine from the junk yard $200.00 bucks. Looks new, same year, apparently they just go in the bin for scrap. So the plan is to go a little further with this one and get ARGO to make some con rods, use the same brand of pistons, I will drill and tap out the head bolts to 14mm and go plus one on the valves. Get a aluminium inlet manifold so can up the boost. Stay tuned for an update come summer
