Default Advice on buying a 03-04 WRX STi

Im in the process of looking for a wrx sti and I need some advice on which one to buy

Buy a 03/04 Modded WRX with high approx 70-80km
-ECU tunned
-Intercooler with piping
-rims/king springs
-about 200kw atw
-service history

Buy a dead stock 03/04 Sti with low km less the 50km

For about the same price or more.

I just enquiring would the modded one be reliable for at say 200kw or will need internal work for it.

Just enquiring due to this will be my first wrx.

I work away ,so that I will not be driving the wrx as a everyday vehicle

STi for sure! Seriously doubt that WRX has anywhere near 200kw with those Mods at the flywheel maybe.

I guess 4wd are hard to dyno, hence its hard to get accurate ke figures, that why lots of people claim that they have as high as 200kw atw with bolt on parts.

STi without a doubt. Much stronger engine with forged pistons. Bigger turbo. Bigger intercooler. Brembo Brakes. Better stock suspension.

ECU and TBE and you can get 200kw ATW reliably. A normal WRX with 200kw ATW wont last any where near as long as the STI. WRX ej205 is not as strong as the STI ej207.

some people dont like it but I like the STI Suede Seats better.
