It looks ugly can't beat the older models for looks, the hatch is very Japanese.

and why's it got california plates? wouldn't they test it in japan?

Apparently it will be based close to the B5 concept according to that article.

Thats gotta be one of the ugliest concepts around, but then again it was 2005 and you can see the pignose influence.

Honestly if it comes out looking like that, i think my next car will be an evo, already leaning in that direction after the concept X pics.

Because its a mule, its probably doing hot weather testing :)

youll find they go over to a few countries with these test mules to test the running gear etc in diff climates.

The B5 looks even worse, that can't be a Subaru, look absolute crap as does the new Impreza covered in masking tape, would look at something else when it came to replace my Impreza after 2008. Crackers in Japan have got it so wrong, why wouldn't you just stay with something that already works.
