New 2007 WRX 'Tuned by STI'
 

Was in City Subaru yesterday and saw a couple of these in the showroom:

Look great, but personally I don't like the STI badges all over the car (front lip, wheels, bootlid) makes them look like try hards....

Love the rims though..

Rocked up to work this morning and the guy that works next door that used to own a bug eye has just purchased one of these. Haven't had a proper look yet but the rims are porn yes! Like the front lip, stezza looks ok too. Hate the spoiler that needs to go.

Yeah had a quick look at the stereo last night, looks to be the Kenwood Double DIN that is discussed in the IPOD thread.

This is the part that gets me:

Priced at $46,990 the Impreza WRX tuned by STi includes more than $12,000 worth of extra equipment for only $7000 more than the standard Impreza WRX.

Makes you think that Suby are actually giving the buyer great value but I have to wonder if the wheels, lip, tune, suspension are worth $7000 over standard WRX?

CS9 and now this ? sounds like sales are dropping.

Rather get a standard wrx and use the $7000 to mod it, beats the 10kw increase they give you.

yeh no kidding, verso remap will get you more than 10kw - allow $990, wheels say $2500, lip $500, suspension lets say $2000 for "STI" suspension bits = $5990
